Deep Dives And Reactions: Autumn Variations by Ed Sheeran (Part One).

Hey y'all! Today I'm reacting to Ed Sheeran 's newest album, Autumn Variations ! This reaction is probably going to be split into several parts because there's several versions of this record and that's a lot to get to in one post!    I've heard some of Plastic Bag and American Town , and I'm claiming Spring .     Okay, let's get started!     Magical:     Lyric Video: This is pretty, has that classic "Sheeran" sound and the lyrics are 10/10 as we've come to expect, at least I have! THIS GUY IS LITERALLY UNABLE TO WRITE A BAD SONG!     (Fan Created Music Video) [Ireland]: Okay, the whole idea of a fan music video is awesome, but OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE CUTEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!!!! Like I love when Music Videos have definite plots and this one more than does! I mean two kids in theater class and then in the play as Romeo and Juliet but also in love? As a former theater kid, MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THIS!!! 10/10 on both.    ...

Deep Dives And Reactions: New Findings: Redemption by Emmy Russell.

Alright y'all, I don't care what anyone said, I liked Emmy Russell on American Idol and was surprised when she didn't win. Now I hear her first song since and I'm hooked!    The elephant in the room: she's not a Country singer and that is slightly sad, because her grandma sure was. She took more inspo from her almost-Country-but-too-Pop-to-be-pure great aunt Crystal Gayle. Don't get me wrong, I love both Webb sisters, but Loretta was always my favorite (my house was divided growing up over that).    Anyway, this song is delicious and a fine twist in pace after her other song was a sadly semi-relatable song about insecurity and eating disorders called "Skinny". I just feel she has gotten so much more powerful since then!    Anyway, 10/10. 😎

Ally's Bookcase: June 2024 Reads:

Hello y'all, welcome to a new series! So for me, June was a month for a writing retreat but I found time to read a piece!    #1: Mary Pope Osborne's Magic Tree House The Graphic Novel: Book Four: Pirates Past Noon adapted by Jenny Laird. I read this one on Libby (I 9/10 recommend Libby, it's super great)! A lot of my teen years were spent reading Magic Tree House so these Graphic Novels are just great! Before this one, I've read and own in person Dinosaurs Before Dark and The Knight At Dawn .  I have not though, read Mummies In The Morning yet because my local Walmart store quit keeping The Graphic Novels right after The Knight At Dawn came out, my local library doesn't have any of them and Libby doesn't have it either.     #2: The Chronicles Of Narnia: Book One: The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis. I read this one between a hard copy I got from my local library (through chapter eleven) and the rest of the way through the Audiobook I borrowed fr...
