Blogmas 2023: Day Twenty Six/Day Two Of The Twelve Days Of Christmas: A Few More Choice Gifts.

 Blogmas Day Twenty Six:

Okay, so as everyone in this world knows, yesterday was Christmas. As I did on Christmas Eve, I'm going to be detailing a few more items I received.
   #1: Studebaker Stereo:
So I spoke of this lightly yesterday but I'm elaborating! This is (arguably) my favorite gift of the year and it is amazing! It's a Candy Apple Red with the slightest Burgundy undertone.
As noted before, it plays CDs, AM and FM radio, is Bluetooth and MP3 compatible and plays and records Cassettes! (I'm so happy because my real recorder is lost in storage and I've been needing it! Now all I need is to get over my cold so I can sing and buy some blank tapes down at the friendly Walmart and then demos galore!
   #2: Artist Loft art kit:
This came as a complete surprise and was nice! I don't know what the exact name of the set is (I'll have to check). It came in a silver case that looks as good as a brand new diamond plate toolbox and has little risers that pop up on either side. It has Watercolor Pencils, Normal Colored Pencils, Oil Paints, Acrylic Paints, Watercolor Paints and some Oil Pastels.
#3: American Girl Girl Of The Year 2007 Nicki Fleming 18in Doll.
I got this one used from eBay. She has her full Meet Outfit, her dog Sprocket and his Service Dog Vest and Logbook. She came in a box that was marked up with the words "I (heart) Monkeys!" on the side and quite a few more doodles. Interesting fact: the box is actually a Jess box but has a label over the printed on name and right below that says "Nicki's Box". I'd love to know the story on that.
She has a Pleasant Company neck stamp (as any AG collector would know, based on the year) and her neckstrings are intact (praise the good Lord, both my Isabelle Palmer and my My American Girl #21 [whom is named Lolli Anne] both have theirs' cut. One day, I'm going to tackle the chore of limb tightening because poor Kit and Lindsay both refuse to stand up without stands/the wall anymore. {My Kit is a circa 2007-2010 with a body tag and an "American Girl LLC" neck stamp". I haven't looked for an over ear artist mark but I know she has the star under her arm}. I'll try to get the whole neckstring replacement done then maybe)!
Anywho, that's gonna have to be it for today! See y'all tomorrow! 😎
