Blogmas 2023: Day Eleven: Deep Dives And Reactions: Women In Country Music, but Alphabetical: Part One.

Blogmas Day Eleven:

 Hey y'all! It's Ally again!

Today I'm going to be talking about Women In Country Music, but in alphabetical order!

This is considered a Deep Dive, so let's talk about the rules.

  1. I'm using a list of every Female Country Artist from www.countrystartpage.com (here's the list) and adding a couple people the list was missing.
  2. If I know her, I'll list how much I like her, whether or not I have any of her albums or have heard them and my favorite song.
  3. If I don't know her, I'll bang her name in the YouTube search bar and listen to the first song that is displayed.

So now that that's done for, the first lady we'll be talking about is Abbey Rowe.

Now, I think I may've heard of her but never consciously listened to her before doing this deep dive. Let's see what song I'm listening to.

The song is called "Miss Wannabe".

There's a Auto-Generated YouTube channel under her name, but it has no content. (It did, but it don't now).

Okay, this is cute. Heavily reminds me of Kelsea Ballerini's "Unapologetically" album! Specifically the songs "Graveyard" or "Miss Me More". It's kinda a groovy Pop-Country song that should be on radios EVERYWHERE! It's a great song!

Since I was so impressed, I decided to try out a second song. It's called "Kitchen Table Super Spy"! (What a name)!

Alright, this made me laugh out loud! I'm also a Kitchen Table Super Spy! I "stalk"literally everyone I so much as consider getting involved with for at least a week and so does everyone in my life! (I find more dirt out that way)... This makes me feel less off my rocker about it!

NaBloPoMo Day Three: Deep Dives And Reactions: Cowboy Back by Gabby Barrett.

NaBloPoMo Day Three: So this is a song I've been more or less obsessed since 2022 or so when she posted a little clip of the intro. (The Intro, I love the intro too much, y'all)!    Anyway, that obsession was further fueled when she played it at Stagecoach last April. I vividly remember playing a fan video about forty times.    This is, however, the first time I've heard the studio version and as a Country Girl who has a genuine respect for Cowboys, I approve.    It reminds me so much of characters I've either made up or write with for fanfics that exist in the source material.    Anywho, 10/10. Lyric Video: This is nice! I was hoping it'd actually get a music video (I wanted a Jesus And My Mama Music Video too... Oh well)... This is really nice, almost like a Visualizer! 10/10.
