A Food Journey: Trying The Limited Time Stuff: McDonald's Grimace Birthday Shake.

 Hey y'all! It's Ally!

Today, I'll be talking about the now discontinued Grimace Birthday Shake from McDonald's!

So I don't usually even buy shakes from McDonald's, as there's a local place I normally get them from, when I get one. (The issue? Cherries. McDonald's don't adorn their otherwise very delicious chocolate shakes with cherries. I'm also McFlurry girl, so usually get one of them instead)!

Anyway, when they announced this new shake, I knew I had to try it, cherry or no cherry.

My first figuring was a vanilla shake with purple dye, which would've been okay. (Come on, peeps. It's PURPLE)! 

Anyway, I was extremely impressed by it. It was vanilla and a delightful berry mix (I think it was blueberry and strawberry). I ended up ordering one every time I hit the McDonald's throughout it's run!(Outdoing my limited edition Summer of 2022 confectionery order of a Frozen Dr. Pepper).

NaBloPoMo Day Three: Deep Dives And Reactions: Cowboy Back by Gabby Barrett.

NaBloPoMo Day Three: So this is a song I've been more or less obsessed since 2022 or so when she posted a little clip of the intro. (The Intro, I love the intro too much, y'all)!    Anyway, that obsession was further fueled when she played it at Stagecoach last April. I vividly remember playing a fan video about forty times.    This is, however, the first time I've heard the studio version and as a Country Girl who has a genuine respect for Cowboys, I approve.    It reminds me so much of characters I've either made up or write with for fanfics that exist in the source material.    Anywho, 10/10. Lyric Video: This is nice! I was hoping it'd actually get a music video (I wanted a Jesus And My Mama Music Video too... Oh well)... This is really nice, almost like a Visualizer! 10/10.
